Carlisle Extra Heavy Duty Rafting Oars provide the user with a strong and lightweight oar that requires no maintenance . Shafts are aluminum, covered in polyethylene plastic and come as one piece or as a two-piece breakdown. There are two sizes of blades to select from. Shaft length indicated is measured with the blade attached. They come standard with foam grips. Shafts are available in Yellow or Blue

Cataract Oars

Considered by many to be the ultimate whitewater oar, Cataract oars claim to have twice the breaking strength of aluminum oars yet they are 40% lighter. The shafts are made from a carbon fiber and E-glass composite and are designed to flex like wood but rebound like graphite composite. Cataract oars can be used with either a Cataract blade or a Carlisle blade.

Cataract Oar Blades The Cataract Blade is made from structural polyurethane over a composite foam core. Unlike other blades the Cataract Blade will float on the surface when the rower drops the oars to land that big one! Cataract Magnum Blades Catarct Magnum oar blades are foam-filled plastic, with an aluminum reinforcing shaft. They fit Cataract or Carlisle shafts, using the same push-button system.
